Digital Pathology Implementation Exchange (DIPIEX)

DIPIEX

Overview

DIPIEX project focuses on real world experience on Digital Pathology implementation and adoption. Aim is to learn from pioneers of DP in Asia to guide new comers by success stories as well as failures and bottlenecks faced.

Objectives

  • Guide new starters in DP and AI implementation.
  • Create a knowledge-sharing ecosystem where professionals discuss real-world cases and specific discussion topics.
  • Highlight success stories for inspiration and best practices.
  • Learn from failures to overcome the challenges in new installations.

Digital 3D Pathology

3DP

Overview

General 3D histopathology can be performed using tissue clearing and light-sheet microscopy imaging. Our project aims to establish a standardized workflow for digital 3D pathology in clinical setting. Our project also includes the clinical investigations and evaluations of this new method.

Objectives

  • Development of a standardized 3D pathology workflow.
  • Clinical applications of 3D pathology, including clinical research.

Pathologist REasoning-Guided REport Generation Challenge (REG²)

REG2

Overview

REG² is a benchmark for generating pathology reports from gigapixel-scale whole slide images (WSIs) while making the diagnostic reasoning process explicit.

Objectives

REG² asks participants to produce not only reports but structured reasoning aligned with pathologist exploration and reportability decisions. An agenda that connects naturally to agentic AI while addressing the scarcity of rigorous medical reasoning evaluation data.
